Not searching, but finding Grief & trauma therapy
In my practice, I work with grief counseling and trauma therapy. In both approaches, the conversation takes us to a deep connection with what matters most in life, and what meaning you give to it.

Grief counseling & trauma therapy
Grief counseling and trauma therapy are two different therapeutic approaches, but they are not always separate. Sometimes grief can play a role in the healing process within trauma therapy, while grieving for loss can bring old traumas to the surface. In our conversation, I follow you so we work on what you need.
Why do we seek grief counseling help?
Grief is one of the universally shared human experiences, but a unique and personal story for each individual. It can feel lonely when your story does not resonate with those around you or when you get stuck in a tangle of conflicting feelings and thoughts.
In my sessions, I give you the opportunity to put into words that which demands attention within you. I guide you in connecting different aspects: the story of what happened, your feelings about it and the meaning you attach to it.
A childhood trauma does not have to be a prison for life.
The realization dawns on you that you have not been completely happy in life for a long time. You have a difficult relationship with others, and sometimes even with yourself.
A pattern seems to emerge in this. Therefore, you often wonder what you can do to get out of this groove. However, it is difficult to look at yourself with new eyes, so your thoughts keep getting stuck.
Compassionate Inquiry (CI) is a form of trauma therapy and helps you find your own answer to where things are going wrong.
Searching for meaning together
I think the beauty of this work is that you search for meaning together. This requires both me and my client to be open, vulnerable and honest as much as possible.

Compassionate Inquiry
It is not the trauma itself that causes the problems, but rather our reaction to it. Compassionate Inquiry is a very successful therapy for resolving mental blocks. This therapy helps deal with intense, traumatic events, as well as less obvious and perhaps even unconscious traumas.
